Trapiche, with over 120 years of history and owning over 1000 hectares of vineyards, are the number one exporter of Argentine wine in the world. It's no surprise to us then that they are the IWSC ARGENTINE PRODUCER OF THE YEAR 2006.
In order to meet the demand for their wines, Trapiche also buy grapes from a further 1000 hectares. Running on their refreshingly open philosophy that the grape grower is King, the Trapiche winemaking team are dedicated to working with their grape suppliers to help them produce the best grapes every vintage. Daniel Pi – Trapiche’s Head Winemaker - and his winemaking team have lead the unification of vineyard management and winemaking at Trapiche, and are now recognised as the Malbec specialists of Argentina. They are committed to quality, consistency and faithfulness to the grape variety.
"Argentina is producing better wines year after year, this is the result of hard work and a better understanding of the components of our terroirs. At Trapiche, our agronomists call themselves “Wine growers”, we feel this gives our customers the best guarantee that focus is put on quality and value from the plant to the bottle, underlining our philosophy that winemaking is all about teamwork." Daniel Pi, Head Winemaker at Trapiche.
Excellent value for money, every time.
