The Mocavero family - Pietro and his sons Francesco and Marco - established their wine company in 1990, although they have been making wine since the 1950s. The new winery is set among the vines and olive groves of Arnesano, outside Lecce, in the centre of the 'heel ' of the Italian peninsular 'boot'. The company owns 25 hectares of vines, manages a further 10ha and also buys grapes from trusted growers.
Modern equipment is used with care for the traditions of the region. Barrel-aged wines are matured in mainly French oak.

A carefully selected range of wines is produced largely from the indigenous grape varieties, and each bottle is crammed with flavour and memories of the Mediterranean sun.
