Riesling 100%, grapes harvested from the Vavasour estate vineyards in the Awatere Valley. They were fermented in stainless steel.
TASTING NOTE
2007 VINTAGE Vavasour Riesling 2007 is a pale straw colour. The nose shows lifted lime/citrus notes, the palate is finely structured exhibiting lime and mineral characteristics and is accompanied by a rich stone fruit flavour profile on the finish. The style is ‘off dry’ .
2004 VINTAGE is a little darker gold. The bouquet has developed and deepened with classic Riesling petrol notes. The palate continues to be ripe, firm and off dry, with more complex flavours and a long finish.
