Pinot Noir 100%, hand-picked from Vavasour's Awatere Valley vineyard. A traditional fermentation in open fermenters was followed by nine months maturation in French oak barriques, 35% of which were new.
TASTING NOTE
Deep garnet colour and showing aromatic cherry and spice on the nose. The concentrated palate exhibits rich dark cherry flavours with a long, soft tannin finish.
