Chardonnay 100% from Trapiche vineyards at between 950m and 1200m above sea level in Mendoza Province.

The grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. After destemming and pressing the must is subject to a controlled, cool fermentation, then 50% of the wine is allowed a malo-lactic fermentation on the lees. Half of the wine was aged in second and third-use barrels of French and American oak; the other half matured in stainless steel.

TASTING NOTE

Yellow greenish colour. Aroma of toasted bread and warm apple pie. Delicious natural flavour of the grapes, combined with the delicacy of the oak. Round, with good underlying acidity.

FOOD PAIRING	A richly flavoured but elegant wine which will complement fine fish dishes, asparagus, poultry and soft cheeses. In Argentina it might be served with fruit.
