Mount Rozier Merlot

Merlot 100% from the domain Blitzy Merlot plot - a unique plot with a marked individual character. The Blitzy Merlot vineyard outperforms its neighbour significantly and the Mount Rozier team are so specific about selection that they actually mark the best rows within the vineyard and utilise only these in the final blend. The wine is matured in small French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTE

Dark, rich and unctuous fruits combine with ripe tannins and notes of meatiness and tobacco. The palate offers beautifully concentrated plum and chocolate flavours.
