The 3 grapes selected to produce this wine have being harvested at 6 Tons per Ha from 30 year old vines. The wine has been matured for a period of 12 months in new french oak barrels and have spent a further 15 months in bottle.
TASTING NOTE
This luscious deep violet blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Carmenere and 15% Shiraz, is abundant with ripe red fruits, spices and leather on the nose. Maturation for 12 months in new French oak has built layers of chocolate, tobacco, vanilla and wild berry fruits. Round on the palate, this wine is full bodied with soft, mature tannins.
